Peggy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Peggy's Story...
This is Peggy she came to us over a year ago with a broken leg that her previous owners let hang off her body for over 4 months. There was so much damage that we had to remove the leg. She is doing much better now but is very shy of people at first. She will never be a happy go lucky dog to strangers but once she gets to know you she will be your best friend. She would do best in a home with older kids 12 and up. She does not like a lot of commotion or a crazy kid house. She would love an older family to just be a lap dog with. She needs someone who will give her patience to let her just settle into there home and then she will be your shadow. She is housebroken but will need time to get used to your schedule and be comfortable.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peggy, a Maryville Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Maryville, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Maryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
