Sue's Story...
Sue is a 2 year old Irish Terrier mix. She is a very laid back girl who loves attention. She likes leash walks and car rides, but prefers cuddling over running around. She does well with older children, and is completely housetrained. She would do best in a quieter home. She is currently receiving treatment for heartworms, but will be ready to go to her new home in early March.

She is currently in Lafayette, LA but we transport north every month. Our adoption fee is $375 and includes transport. All LAA dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Please fill out an application at http://www.lafayetteanimalaid.org/adopt/dogs/dog-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a Denver Irish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Terrier for sale in Denver, or seeking a Irish Terrier dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Terrier breeders who help with Irish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
