My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bowan! This goofy pup's freckly nose and positive energy will always be sure to put a smile on your face. Bowan was found running off of Scenic Highway by a kind stranger and brought to the shelter. Unfortunately, he had a fungal infection that had to be treated before he was available for adoption, so this baby spent his "tiny, cute puppy stage" at the shelter. Now that Bowan is all healed up he is in a foster home and happier than ever! This guy loves to play at the dog park, looking for the best stick to chew on, and getting pets from his family. Bowan is already kennel-trained, walks well on a leash, and is doing wonderfully with his house-breaking. Although his training is advanced for a puppy his age, he is still getting the hang of his gangly legs, hopping around and frequently getting stuck under furniture (the picnic table at the park trapped him once)!

At around 4-5 months old, we anticipate this big baby weighing in the 40s or lower 50s once full grown. Bowan would be ideal with an active, inside home that can continue his puppy training. After a day of playing, all Bowan wants to do is cuddle, so if you want a perfectly balanced pup, this is your guy!

Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical examination by a vet prior to adoption.
