Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ollie is a 2 1/2 year old poodle mix. He weighs about 14 lbs. This is his second time with us as he is being returned by his adoptive Mom. She loves him dearly and tells us that he is an absolute sweetheart at home. However, Ollie is very protective around her. He has bitten, nipped and lunged at other people and dogs who try and get to close to Mom. Unfortunately, this has escalated to the point where he can no longer stay with his person and, for his own safety, he needs to be rehomed and start over before he does serious damage and is possibly impounded. He is a cuddle bug, always has a smile on his face and, obviously, bonds deeply. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is skilled and patient enough to work with him before his possessive nature has time to take hold. He is a complete angel when his Mom is not around so he has the potential to be a really great dog. He needs a firm and very experienced hand to help him lose his aggression and fear of abandonment. No kids please.
