Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB June 15, 2003.
Monarch loves all humans! She is affectionate and peaceful. She will laze around all day until you pay attention to her, and then she is in heaven. She is very wary of other cats or dogs, and would be best in a single cat family - she hisses at them, however she lived with another cat and simply hissed when her space was invaded. Monarch used to have a problem with anxiety and it cause some inappropriate urination, but she now takes a medication that has calmed her down and she only uses the litter box now. She is an indoor/outdoor cat - she usually sits on the porch and watches life go by for an hour a day. She does need daily brushing to keep her long fur beautiful. Her current owner shares: "Monarch is awesome, and I am sad to have to let her go, but we are leaving the country for six months and it isn't fair for her to not have a loving home over that time."
Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice appreciated, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
