My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am NIKO! Hear me ROAR! Yes, I am indeed a 3.5 lbs, 4 yrs old, adorable, comical, very human-focused snuggle bug who plays well with others... BUT I am also a motorcycle. ROAR!! Wait. Wha? I heard you say, please let me explain. See, I like to move it, move it! Motoring around pack-style is my favorite, or zooming down the sidewalk with my beloved human acting as sidecar. When I get tired... I just pop out my built-in, trusty kickstand and presto chango - NIKO Motorcycles - Limited Edition!

When I was born, The All Knowing Sirius saw fit to slow my roll a bit by twisting my right back leg from knee to ankle, just enough to keep my patella from being able to sit in the right spot. The good folks at ACR took me to the top "mechanics'' in town, who after XRays (and even a CT Scan!) determined that we could either spend a bunch of dog biskits trying to fix it to "somewhere near normal" or do nothing, and just amputate it. But ACR countered, that my kickstand has been working for 4 yrs... what if we left it in place? Would there be a problem with it later? Top Mechanic says, "actually... NO! Not anymore than a normal leg." Soooo, we are good to keep ROARING through life NIKO-STYLE!! I get along just fine and in the right family environment, I will become a legend in my own mind... I mean TIME!
