My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Panda is a five year old special needs tri-color border collie looking for a loving home. He has a very sweet disposition and loves everyone he meets. He gets along great with kids and other animals. He enjoys short walks, swimming/playing in water, and playing fetch with a tennis ball... but what he loves most is just snuggling up close. He is a low to mid-energy dog who loves companionship and is very eager to please.

Panda has a neurological disorder which causes him to have weakness in his hind legs. While he is able to get around and has a good quality of life, he cannot walk/run as well as other dogs. It also causes him to have accidents (bowel movements only). His condition has been stable for a few years and he only requires one medication, which costs about $5 per month. He has been microchipped and is up to date on all of his shots.

Panda would be best suited for a home with lots of companionship (with another dog, kids, or someone who works from home). Ideally, a home with a decent sized yard and little to no carpet would be best. He also needs someone who is patient and understanding of his disorder/accidents. Panda is by far the sweetest dog I have ever known and he will make a very loyal friend.
