Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY: Charlotte Cocker Rescue is not to be held responsible for the health or temperament of this dog. We have agreed to do this posting to help the owners of this dog find the perfect forever home for this nice cocker boy.
My name is Puma and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I am a 6 1/2 year old buff, neutered cocker boy. My family adopted me in 2009 when I was 10 months old. I have had a great life, been loved and well taken care of, but now they have a young child and I am not good with kids. Overall, I am a very easy going guy, healthy and heartworm negative. I am people oriented and I am content to just lounge around the house during the day. When you are home, I enjoy spending quality time with you and when you need to leave for awhile I do not get overly anxious, I just enjoy hanging out for a few hours until you return. I love belly rubs and I like most forms of attention. I will never be a lapdog. I will be a great partner for someone who takes long walks or is a hiker. I am good on a leash and I respond well to voice commands. I love to fetch balls at the dog park. I rarely bark and usually will just ignore other dogs on walks or a hike.
I need to find a home with no children. On a leash, I will let them pet me, but at home I have a history of snapping at them. I will be a good choice for an active, older couple who enjoy walking or jogging or hiking and would like a wonderful companion. When you are home, I would enjoy just spending time with you by laying at your feet or spending time in my dog bed. I am good in the house and a low maintenance cocker boy with no health issues. I would love to just be your baby boy, a wonderful companion and share a great rest of my life with you. I would love to have you call me........your best friend! Please help me to find the home I deserve, my family wants me to be happy, loved and have a great rest of my life!
If you are interested in adopting me and would like to find out more details,
please contact my owner, Ben Goldstein at: ben.goldstein@gmail.com and in the subject line put my name so that he will know it is about me.
Serious inquires only: You must provide vet references and a small $50 re-homing fee will be
discussed to make sure that Puma gets the best home that he deserves.
