My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a female black and white Pit Bull mix, 5 years old. She is an awesome dog and a great example of what an American Pit Bull temperament should be.She was abandoned on the street with her nine puppies and was the best mommy dog we have ever seen. Even after being spayed she carries the mothering instinct on to other small dogs and puppies as well as children. She is a loving dog and very smart. She enjoys being with someone she loves and is quiet and well behaved. She has had a rough past and takes a little time to warm up. But after she does you have a friend for life. She is good with other dogs and kids of an older age that know to respect ears and tails. Cookie avoids conflict and will walk away from her food if confronted. Fully crate and house trained. She does have hypothyroidism which will require medication the remainder of her life but she is more than worth it. Average cost of meds is $20 per month. Up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, Heartworm negative and microchipped. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $30
