All About Me:    This is the sweetest and best little girl anyone could ask for, so it is hard to understand why no one claimed her. She is approximately 6 years old. She knows to "sit" and "shake hands". She is crate trained and house trained. She gets along great with the other dogs and cats in her foster home.
She sleeps all night on her doggie bed. She rides very well in the car and does super on a leash.
We feel she would do best in a home with no small children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Old Fort Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
