Gunner is one special Golden Retriever and is available through Golden Huggs Rescue! This handsome, loyal, loving fellow is so mellow, his foster mom says that he secretly wants to be a lap dog. Just look at those photos! Gunner doing dog yoga and Gunner achieving pure contentment. This smart, sweet lad likes to romp and play and he really loves to swim. Golden Huggs believes Gunner will really shine as the only dog in the household.

Gunner is in a great foster home. This healthy six-year-old fellow spent almost a year with his family, and they adore him. But their dog and Gunner did not get along. Gunner's foster mom truly hoped things would work out, and the dogs would settle in and accept each other. But she says that mild-mannered Gunner can get triggered when other dogs try to boss him around. She believes that he will be happiest as the only pet at home—free to be the "big, oafy, beautiful" Gunner that she has come to love.
