My name is Taiga and I am grinning from ear to ear! I love life and am ready to bring joy to everyone I meet. My life started out in the north – I do so enjoy this cold weather and find the snow irresistible! Several of my canine pals and I were brought to Animatch by the Nordic Paws Project. I am a little shy in new situations but just give me a few minutes and I’ll be your friend eternally. I would truly like to go to obedience training so I can be a good canine citizen which will only make me more lovable. I do get along with other dogs and I just can’t get enough of humans, especially the one who want to scratch me or give me belly rubs. Because I am only 10 months old, a home where I am not alone the entire day would be best. If you want a dog who thinks you’re the best thing since sliced bread .... I am your girl. By the way, I was diagnosed with demodex. But don’t get your shorts in a knot, it is not contagious and I am healing – no treatment required. Demodex is caused by mites – all dogs have them but when there are too many it can cause this skin irritation. The Volunteers all think I am beautiful regardless of a few little thin patches of fur.
