My story

Dunwoody Girl, "Gigi" is a 10 year old OTTB mare warhorse. She retired from racing in early 2013 and then ended up as part of a starvation case for Animal Control in West Virginia. Through networking on Facebook, we brought Gigi to our facility in July 2013. Gigi raced 52 times and earned $44,055 in her racing career. She was adopted on March 8, 2014 but her adopter has hit tough times and financially can no longer keep her. Gigi is a lovely mare with no vices. She is a fun, forward ride for an intermediate to advanced rider. She has show experience over fences and has been tacked up both English and Western.

Dunwoody Girl is available for adoption under a no racing/no auction/no breeding contract with right of first refusal through Second Chance Thoroughbreds, Inc.
