My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Boots is of unknown heritage but appears to be a Poodle mix, possibly with some Cocker Spaniel. The vet estimates this active young fellow, who weighs in at just under 20 pounds, was born around April 2014. He is clean in the house and knows his basic commands. Boots is quite energetic so will need an adoptive family with an active lifestyle - he would make a great running partner! We would also like to see him in a home with a securely fenced backyard for safe playtime. Boots loves to play fetch and will also keep himself busy with his chew bones. We have been told that he will take any opportunity to bolt out an open door, so a vestibule with a door or permanently installed baby gate is a must. For this reason as well, a home with young children would not be ideal but older children would be fine. All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
