Hi! My name is Rags but I am open to a name change. When I arrived at Broken Tail I was a bit scruffy and unkempt so Rags sort of suited me. After being treated to a make-over I am now a well-groomed,debonair gentleman. I look way too classy to be called Rags. Weighing in at 16 lbs I am a 2 year old Poodle mix. Mixed with what, you ask? Mixed with some gorgeous ,silky-haired creature . I have long, silky hair on my ears and a bottle brush tail. I love to prance around and bury my face in the snow. Inside, I am content to follow my people around or curl up on the couch. I am quiet and don't mind hanging out in my crate when necessary. I get along fine with other dogs as long as they come in peace. I don't like to be growled at. I can be a bit possessive of my food and crate. I eat very quickly and will growl when people or other animals approach when I am eating or resting in my crate. My foster mom thinks that once I learn to trust that no one will take my food away and that I will be fed regularly, this behavior will go away. My general disposition is sweet and loving. I am ready for a family who will love me as much as I can love them. I was recently neutered , am house trained and have an average energy level. I am up to date on vaccinations, negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease and am microchipped.
