Dotty is a “diamond in the rough” type of girl. She is super affectionate, sweet, friendly, and snuggly- with the right person. She hasn’t had a whole lot of socialization with the outside world, and she’s working on that in her foster home. She tends to bond very quickly with one person of the family, and takes a much quicker liking to women than men. Once she knows you- she loves you. When she’s happy her entire body wiggles, including her adorably stumpy tail. It just takes her a while to get there. Many things in the outside world worry her- loud noises, quick movements, etc. Her foster mom is working diligently with her to get her more accustomed and to be more independent. She’s good with other dogs, and would do best in a home with a stable, well socialized pooch to show her the ropes. Dotty needs an adult only household. She might be ok with a super dog savvy cat, but right now she likes to chase after the resident cat. She’s crate trained & almost potty trained.
