Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dominick came to ADOPT in February of 2015. He is an FIV+ kitty, meaning he would need to live as either an only cat or with another FIV+ cat. Please speak to an adoption counselor for more details.
Read Dominick's story from the woman who rescued him:
Dominick is from a trailer park in Aurora that I did trap-neuter-return at in the Fall of 2013 and Spring of 2014. I still go there regularly to check on the kitties and make sure the caretakers have food. I started to notice a cat always outside a mobile home after last winter. I noticed an empty litter box leaning against the mobile home and that's when I realized he was kicked out of the house. I would leave him cans of food but he was hesitant around me and stayed on his 3x2 concrete step - his home now. I came by and met the mother and she showed me how sweet and friendly he was and explained her husband had put him out of the house. She let me come back to pick him up that weekend. Her 8 year old son was very attached to him but they knew a life outside their mobile home on the step wasn't a life for him.
