Thomas's Story...
Hello! My name is Thomas, I'm an 8 year old Japanese Chin. I am adjusting nicely to my foster home. I'm totally housebroken and know how to use a doggie door. I get along with all my foster brothers and sisters. There are no cats here so I don't know if I can get along with them. I'm a little shy but getting better every day.

My foster mom likes to pick me up and snuggle and I like this a lot. I follow my foster mom everywhere. I'm very sweet and lovable. I'm a very quiet boy. I have been neutered, I am up to date on vaccinations and I have recently had a dental. I have a heart murmur but I do not require any medication.

I would love to come live with you! If you would like to make this loveable guy part of your family please fill out the online application on the Treasured Pals Website, and then contact to let her know of your interest. Thomas is being fostered in Corinth, TX.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thomas, a Haslet Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Haslet, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Haslet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haslet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haslet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haslet paves the way for another one to be saved.
