My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie, a beautiful German Shepherd mix! Sophie is guestimated to be 6 years old. She is fairly shy, but will warm up quickly. She enjoys playing with other energetic dogs, and would thrive in a house with multiple dogs. Sophie is great with kids, cats and dogs. Sophie's preferred home would have a 6 foot fully fenced yard, or an electronic fence would probably suffice. She has developed the talent of jumping over a 4 foot fence, and she is hard to catch if she runs away. Her current foster home does not have a fence, so Sophie walks on a leash daily. This might also be acceptable for the right home. Sophie is house trained and is not a hyper dog. Her foster mom has not heard one peep out of her. She loves to lay on the couch and on the bed with you. Sophie has a history of heart worms and has been treated. Other than that, the vet gave her a bill of clean health! Sophie is a beautiful dog, and is just waiting for her perfect forever home.

This dog’s adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
