Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whoopi is an 8 month old, unique Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 38 lbs. We are not sure what she is mixed with, but the distinctive wrinkles on her face and her wide snout hint at a myriad of different breeds in her mix. Whoopi has an independence about her that keeps her from being too much of an indoor dog. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard where Whoopi is allowed to come in and out often. She loves to play fetch, play with other dogs and chase the birds that fly overhead. She would be a great hiking companion and loves to explore. Whoopi is not a dog that constantly seeks affection and is quite happy to spend her day with you but not be in your face. Her mom and siblings were found fending for themselves in a field in TN when she was a puppy. The key to Whoopi’s success is her freedom. She shouldn’t be left home alone for long hours and especially not in a crate. She is not destructive and prefers to “hold down the fort” while you are away. She would love another dog for a companion and does not do well with cats. Whoopi is a special girl but well worth the effort. We know there is a home just right for Whoopi somewhere, please let us know if it’s with you. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
