Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Walter is a 5-6 year old male Pug in search of his forever home.
Walter came to us with a mouth full of rotten teeth and had to have them all removed, except for 4 of them. This is why his tongue hangs out the side of his mouth.
This doesn't stop him though, he's such a character and still very active.
He absolutely loves everyone, including other dogs and cats, and loves attention.
He's happy go lucky, and is a joy to his foster family every day.
He is completely housetrained (that was remedied after he was neutered), and very obedient.
Unfortunately Walter requires some extra attention from his new forever family.
He will require daily eye lubrication for dry eye, which is approximately $20/month.
The adopter may also choose to give him special eye drops that help encourage tearing, though that can range from $45-$90/month for those special drops. That can be discussed with your vet.
He will require daily lubrication of his nose as it gets dry. You can use coconut oil or Aloe gel.
He will require lubrication of his tongue as well - he may enjoy coconut oil for that.
He should have regular cleaning of his skin folds (daily) with a warm damp cloth or wipes.
Regular brushing of the only teeth he has left is also recommended.
We hope to find a very special person or family who will commit to this poor boys ongoing care, we know they won't regret it for a second. He's full of love to give and needs someone to give him a chance.
Walter has been vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, had rotten teeth removed, and has been neutered. He is between 5 and 6 years old.
He loves other dogs and cats. As well as kids.
