Ginger's Story...
HI MY NAME IS GINGER! I am roughly a 20 month old APBT mix. I was found about a month ago in a rural town. I didn't look so hot and a nice lady found me and took me to the vet. They found out that I have those nasty heartworms but I am under treatment to get rid of those gross buggers. With the right introductions I make doggy friends. I had a lot of wounds on my body so they think other animals were not so nice to me. They make me very nervous. I am roughly 45lbs of a loyal, loving and likable pooch. My foster mommy says I am very attentive, knows "sit" and am housebroken/crate trained. I want to be an indoor family member. I have had all my vaccines and after my treatment is finished I will be spayed and microchiped. I am available for adoption now so if you are looking for a great gal THAT IS ME!! I have not been tested with kids or cats yet. Contact Guthrie Pet Hospital @ (405) 282-8796. My adoption fee is $125.00. Serious inquires only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Norman American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Norman, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
