Duncan's Story...
***ALL INTERESTED PLEASE GO TO www.savemescout.wix.com/savemescoutrescue FOR THE ADOPTION APPLICATION!***

Duncan is a playful and sweet 1 year old Blue Brindle Pitbull. He might possibly have a tad of English Bulldog in him because he snorts like one and is lower to the ground compared to other Pitties. Duncan was at Denver Animal Shelter and had to go to rescue because Denver is an area of BSL.

Duncan is energetic and can be a little annoying to new dogs at first but is currently fostered with another dog and loves playing with him. He has not been tested with cats. He is great with people and would probably do well with children, just keep in mind he's a heavy and bouncy 1 year old muscular dog so he might knock them over in play and smother them with kisses.
Duncan is potty trained and crate trained. He loves his walks and knows some basic commands. He loves to play but also loves to cuddle with you on the couch.

Duncan does seem to be blind in his Right eye but it doesn't appear to bother him. The shelter believed it may have been from a previous trauma.

Duncan's adoption fee is $275 which includes his neuter, microchip, distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccinations and a private in home private training session.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Loveland American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Loveland, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Loveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
