Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE 02-22-15 Navah was turned into the Shelter by someone who only had her for a month. The person had gotten her from a neighbor. She said that Navah was playful and friendly with her male dogs, but did not get along with her 11 yr. old spayed female. She said the previous owner had 3 kids under 6yrs. old. Navah is housetrained and does well on leash. Although she was quite confused and frightened when she first arrived at the Shelter, after just one day she showed how friendly she is - leaning against you for petting, licking hands and faces, play bowing with people and other dogs, no reaction to ears being pulled or hands in her mouth. Navah is spayed and her shots will be up to date. Unfortunately, Navah tested positive for heart worms which can be treated, however we cannot afford the expense. If you have room in your home, heart and are able to have her treated, please contact the Shelter in Elizabeth City as soon as possible - 252-338-5222.
