Hi there. My name is Jasper. I'm 7 months old and I weigh 73.8 lbs.
The pound got a complaint on me being tied up outside when it was about -10 degrees. The pound went out and I was out there, My shelter was not sufficient so the lady from the pound had them take me in and told them they'd have to keep me inside over the next couple of days because it was so terribly cold outside. They wouldn't want me to be an inside dog because they wanted me for a "guard dog". I had been chained up outside since I was just a 3 month old puppy.
I guess they couldn't handle my lack of training 'cause after the lady from the pound left, they called back in asking for her to just come get me because I was getting in to things and what not. The girl came back out and my owners relinquished me to the pound.
I am a very sweet boy. Although I am not trained, I am very smart and I learn fast.
I am mischievous, as all puppies are, so I will need a patient family that is willing to train me to become the best dog I could possibly be.
I am a very loving dog with people and I get along well with other dogs.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
