My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“The light that I am
The love that I have
Will transform fear … everywhere.” – Carlos Santana

My name is Carlos and I am a happy dog. I am happy no matter what. This is a lesson in optimism that I would like to share with you humans.

You see, there was a time in my life where I didn’t have anything – no family, no home, not a friend in the world. In fact, before FFL, my life was slated to end because nobody seemed to want to take me home!

However sad my past may have been, I am and always have been full of joy and am glad for the following aspects of myself and my life:

• I am house trained: I never have accidents because I value the foster home I have, just like I would my forever home.
• My heart overflows with love and affection: I make sure that not a day goes by that I don’t share cuddles and positive energy with the people (men, women, and children) I come in contact with.
• I value my brain and enjoy training it every day: I already know the commands “Lie Down,” “Sit,” “Come,” “Off,” and always have a great time learning new tricks.
• I know that Sharing is Caring: I am happy with people and other dogs being near my possessions and food.
• My cheerfulness is multiplied in the presence of other dogs: I make a great dog park date. Put me together with other dogs and we’ll put on an unforgettable celebration of life!

Just one look and you can see that I’ve got it good. I’m only really missing someone to share this joyfulness with. Could that person be you?
