My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- My name is Lexus. I am a 9 year old female spayed Pit bull who weighs about 53 pounds and is looking for my forever family. My foster mom tells me I am quite the lady when it comes to my manners in the home. I am housetrained and always let her know when I need to go out. I do not need to be crated as cages make me uneasy, but I am content to be gated in a room if you do not wish to leave me roam the house.
I love going for walks and I am very good on a leash. I also like going for car rides and will sit quietly in the back seat watching all the sights on our road trips. My foster mom is helping me be better around other dogs but I may have to be the only dog in the home. I would have to meet any potential dog housemates before being adopted. I also find cats very fascinating and like to chase them so it is best I go to a home without cats.
While I love adults, children sometimes scare me with their unpredictable ways and I can react to them. I would like a home with only older children, at least 15 years of age.
I maybe older but I can still be playful at times or I can just chill and spend the day keeping you company. I love belly rubs and bringing you my favorite toy or bone when you come home.
