My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Socks is the most affectionate, loving and engaged older kitten you could ever meet. He has had a very tough life, and perhaps that is why he so devoted to the humans that now come into his life. Socks was living on the street as a young kitten, with a congenital defect that causes him to not have the use of one of his eyes. He also contacted FIV+, likely as a result of being attacked by another cat while living outside. All Socks wants though is as many hours of kisses and hugs and pets and cuddles as he can get. Remember, cats with FIV usually live just as long as those who test negative and they can live safely with other cats who are negative. We've rescued a lot of cats but Socks is one of those who makes it so apparent how desperately he wants one of those homes where he will be just showered constantly with love. And Socks will return all of the affection that he receive- he has already demonstrated this with his foster mom.. Please give this guy a chance even know though he has a few things going against him!
