Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello out there. I am Dixie, an 8 year old lady of 72 pounds. I am sad to say I was turned in to a shelter by my owners because I had some ear infections and they couldn’t afford to pay for my treatment. It is really hard when your ears are hurting and then your heart is hurting too because you are alone and sad. I really don’t mean to be a bother and the doctors say I don’t have an infection now and I will probably be fine with regular ear cleaning. I am a kind and loyal girl and I know a few tricks like sit and stay. I am friendly and get along with children and other dogs and I am housetrained. I was mostly kept outside where I lived before and because of this thunder scares me some. If you wouldn’t mind keeping my ears cleaned and cuddling me during bad weather I promise I will be ever so sweet to you and really grateful. I could be the very best friend you will ever have. If you have a place for a new furry friend please contact AGB and ask for me, Dixie.
