Hunter's Story...
Hi, my name is HUNTER and I am a 10 year old DECLAWED (front paws only) brown tabby male with SYMMETRICAL markings on my HANDSOME face and pretty GREEN eyes. Posh Pets came to my rescue when my former owner could no longer care for me and presently I’m in foster care hoping to be adopted into a forever home of my own. Here are some facts about me: It took me a little while to feel comfortable after my former owner abandoned me, but now I’m fine. I’m VERY TALKATIVE. I like to FOLLOW my foster mom around from room to room to be NEAR her. I enjoy hanging out on the couch NEXT to her and being PETTED which results in (you guessed it) uncontrollable PURRRING! In addition, I have no problem living with DOGS and other CATS. Are you in the market for a devoted COMPANION that requires little care except for unconditional LOVE and SECURITY? Then I’m the one for you. Let’s arrange a meeting. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
