Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PEANUT is a 10 month old neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 56 pounds. Peanut is a playful, and young chunk of chocolate love! He has lived with one family since he was a puppy and is now looking for his forever family! He is house trained and crate trained. Like most young dogs, he will need to work on his leash walking as he tends to pull on the leash. An Easy Walk Harness and formal training may help. Peanut knows “sit” and “lay down.” He is good with other dogs and has always lived with another dog so should go to a home with another dog. He would do best crated when his owners leave as he is a young guy and may cause some mischief if left alone. Peanut is used to sleeping in his crate. Peanut enjoys going for walks, going to the dog park and likes to retrieve in the water. Peanut is submissive towards other dogs. Peanut is approved for kids ages
10+.
Update (3/5): Peanut is a playful high energy pup. He loves to play with the resident 14 month old dog. He knows sit, down and we have been working on stay and leave it. He enjoys his training sessions and will do almost anything for a treat. He walks well on leash when using a gentle leader. Peanut goes crazy over a ball and would probably chase it all day. Update (3/01): Peanut is a playful and very lovable lab. He became immediately inseparable from the young dog in his foster home. His foster family has nicknamed him wiggle-butt, because when he is happy he not only wags his tail but his whole back end. He is very good with the twin 10 year old children in his foster home. He knows sit and down and we are working on stay.
