My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil is a handsome 9 month old lab with such a sweet smile. He weighs 45 lbs. now but will probably grow a little more as he is still young. This young boy was found as a stray in a school yard playing with the children. He is now in a great foster home getting lots of love and nurturing. Basil would be considered high energy, but a lot of that is just being a puppy and needing to learn obedience. He loves everyone he meets, but would probably be to much for very small children. Basil is great with other dogs, loves playing with them and is great at fetch. Basil is a smart boy and is working on some basic commands including house training. He loves all those good boy treats which makes training easy. Basil would be a great companion for the active person or family and would love to be your running partner, playing fetch in the yard buddy, long brisk walks in the park companion and just about anything else you would want to do. Even though he has lots of energy, he loves to snuggle, get hugs and would love to be a lap dog. He is a beautiful boy who just needs a lot of TLC and guidance. Basil is up to date on vaccinations including rabies, is neutered, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
