Ella's Story...
Ella
(DOB 11/4/14)
Available: 2/28/15

Meet Ella, a female, 15 pound, 4 month old, petite Lab mix puppy.
Ella was found as a stray by a good Samaritan who searched for her owner. When her owner could not be located, she was welcomed into her foster family's home until she was ready for the next chapter of her life, a new forever home.

When we first met Ella in mid January she weighed 11 pounds and looked like a lab pup. She hasn't grown much and is currently less than 15 pounds. It appears she will remain a petite girl, and wont be a large dog.

Ella is looking for a home with a fenced yard for an active puppy to play in. Some doggy playmates and children to love on are on her wish list.

Ella has received all age appropriate vaccinations, been spayed, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention.

Ella's adoption fee is only $95.
Donations help us to keep our adoption fees low and allows us to help more animals in need.

If you are interested in giving Ella a forever home, please visit our webpage at www.parkerpaws.org and complete an adoption application.

Thank you for adopting a rescue pet

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Weatherford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
