Hi there. My name is Ziva. I'm about 2-3 years old and I weigh about 70 lbs.
I was found as a stray in Salem with another dog. The people who found me did find out who my owners were but they just said they let us loose because they didn't want us anymore. Now I am here at the pound looking for a new home and a family that will always want me.
i'm a little bit timid at first with new people, but I am super sweet and loving once I get to know you. I really love to jump up on the couch and cuddle up next to you.
I get along well with other dogs and I seem to be a pretty playful girl. I love playing fetch!!
I appear to be housebroken as well. I am a good girl inside. I'm very quiet and I mostly just lounge around.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. It does appear that after laying down for a while, my hind leg gets a little stiff and sore. It is suggested that if this problem continues after I am adopted, that my new owners take me to the vet to get it checked out.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER FEBRUARY 27, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
