Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Eddie, the adorable All Star Jack mix!!! Eddie is almost 3 years old, has long legs and weighs approximately 20 lbs. He’s super lovable, full of personality and really relishes being near his people. He enjoys attention, especially back rubs and belly rubs, and will wiggle, squirm and roll on his back for you to keep going. Eddie gets along great with his foster brothers and sister dogs and, after a few weeks in his foster home, now ignores the cat.
Of no fault of his own, Eddie has been bounced around quite a bit in his very short life. He is not a very confident dog and this instability can cause him to be a little unsure of himself in unfamiliar situations. He’d do well with a calm, assertive, confident handler. Eddie learns very quickly and is remarkably intelligent. He clearly looks to his person to reassure him, to give him direction and to show him how to behave. Eddie would be better suited in a household with older, respectful children.
Eddie walks well on the leash and likes to meet and greet all the other dogs in the neighborhood. If you have a confident dog for him to walk with, even better! Eddie, like most Jacks, has a lot of energy and loves to run, play, and retrieve tennis balls. This guy would make a superstar flyball or agility dog! He already knows basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and down. Eddie loves going for car rides and will sit perfectly still in the backseat until you get to where you’re going. He is up-to-date on shots, 100% housebroken and crate trained. If you’d like to give Eddie his forever home, please contact Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue at www.MAJR.org or his foster mom, Nicole, at Nikalusbutn@aol.com.
