Bogart's Story...
I am a male Labrador Retriever mix. I am about 9 years old and weigh 64 lbs. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $200.

I am one of 257 dogs awarded by the courts, as part of a cruelty/neglect case, to A New Beginning back in 2010. I was adopted out in 2011 but was returned in 2015 because my owner lost her home.

I have been in rescue since I was 4 months old! I am a sweet and friendly boy. I just had a dental and had to have 15 teeth removed!

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-4:30 and Sunday from 12-4:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogart, a Orlando Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
