Honey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Honey's Story...
*ADOPTION PENDING* Honey was rescued off the freeway feeder road in late January '15. She has already been fully vetted- wormed, spayed, vaccinated, negative for heartworms and on prevention, and will be microchipped at the time of adoption.

Honey gets along with cats and dogs, and with older, calmer children over 10. She is beginning to show her sassy personality and is starting to become playful and less fearful. At a mere 6 pounds, she acts larger than she is.

She is also extremely affectionate and loving...She loves to be held and babied. She does well on leash, in the car, and in the crate. She doesn't appear to have ever been house trained, but she does so well in the crate, it doesn't appear she will be that hard to train. We will be working on this.

Honey is estimated to be right at 12 months old, so she will not be getting any larger. (better photos to come)

To visit with Honey or any of our adoptable pets, please contact us for an adoption application today. One must be approved for adoption before visiting with one of our adoptables.

Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
