My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Ellie (HWTH#15087B). She is a Golden Retriever mix, DOB: 8/14/14. Ellie weighs approximately 50 pounds and stands 21 inches at the shoulders (with a little more growing to do). Ellie is beautiful, very friendly and extremely active. Her previous owner says she walks well on leash and knows basic obedience commands but it would still be recommended that she be enrolled in a positive basic obedience training class to help with the bonding process. Ellie is going to need an active owner who will exercise her and spend good-quality time playing with her and possibly doing some sort of dog sport with her to give her the sense of having a job to keep her well occupied. The more human companionship she has, the better she will behave. Ellie is house trained, crate trained, good with all adults and older kids (toddlers are unknown). Ellie likes car rides. She does not do well with cats or small dogs. Her yard needs to be extremely secure with a higher than 6 foot fence that also is secure at the bottom so she can not dig out.
