This Pretty Cute Girl is LUNA a gorgeous purebred Blue AKC Weimaraner. She is 6 yrs old, Luna has A nice temperament, and beautiful Weimy features she is blessed with stunning good looks, and beautiful soulful amber eyes that show so much love and a little pain.
Luna` s story >>>> Luna is a wonderful girl that hasn't had the best of luck in her life, We rescued her from Alabama she was an owner surrender. That was not the first home this little sweetie had. Her first home began when she was an adorable pup her first owner instilled a lot of discipline in her and she was often kept in a basement after they had their first child that appeared to have allergies. She was later re homed to another family the husband never really liked Luna he was into small dogs and Luna just did not fit the bill. Anything he could complain about he did until the decision to re home her was imminent. The story goes she growled at the child when he went to take something from her and that sealed her fate, She was taken to the vet to be euthanized as a last ditch attempt her new mom called us, We transported her to Florida and placed her in a loving foster home for evaluation. Luna is a lovely girl so sweet and is always happy to see us. All she wants is a family that will love her and give her cuddles as all Weimies she loves her humans and she needs to be made into that princess that all our Weimies become. She was a little nervous around strangers at first and in the home she was unsure at what she was allowed to do. She warms up quickly and will cuddle up to you all day long. While in rescue Luna has been the perfect girl no ncidents which lead us to summarize that her previous owner was not completely truthful which is the same in many cases which is why we keep all our dogs for a minimum 28 day evaluation period. Luna is not a high maintenance Weimy she is just happy around people that will show her love. She is a good protector like all weims and will bark to let you kmow someone is around.She does have a loud bark for a small Weim a loud deep bark that makes you sit up and take notice. Strange noises and new situations can, of course, illicit a bark, but she doesn't do it to get attention. She has never chewed anything in the house or yard that was not hers to chew, and she is fine to be left in the house. Although Luna is small and a little overweight she is strong and does pull on a leash. She is gentle taking treats. Luna loves the freedom to be able to run and play she is very active she loves to play with sticks balls and will always be the first to run. Luna is up to date on all shots,spayed. heart worm negative and micro chipped. She is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Luna a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this girl back in rescue. Luna is so lovable, and loves a lots of cuddles. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect She will blossom with the right interaction. She is a quiet girl but always eager to try and please and she is still unsure of what she can and cant do. The others will sit on a sofa Luna needs to be coaxed which is down to the strict discipline of her first owner. It is sad to watch her.
A home with a fenced in yard Pool Lanai or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL She would do well with one other dog around her size as a companion or as an only dog with lots of interaction. She would love a male. Luna is with 4 other dogs both male and female and she gets on fine with them all but a quieter home environment would be better for her. Not a lot of dogs so she dosent feel the need to compete for attention. A family that is home most of the time would work best for Luna she dosent like to be alone for long periods and crating would NOT work for Luna. She dosent need a crate and that would be alien to her. Luna is certainly a people girl. She dosent need a lot she just needs the love and consistency of a loving family. We would say NO CATS for Luna and no toddlers she is fine with children but young ones that are not disciplined may be a little too much for her. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Luna`s life complete, if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
