Grampy's Story...
Grampy is a sweet and gentle giant who loves spending time with his humans and animal friends. He came to us a few weeks back after his family dumped him at the County shelter for being old. We quickly discovered that he has scars on his body, most likely from abuse. BUT, Grampy is a lover and a survivor. He is determined to enjoy his golden years and give love to whoever will allow it.

Grampy is very loyal and follows his person everywhere. He is very quiet. He likes short walks but we're slowly building up his strength. He is dog and cat friendly, house trained and listens well. He is approximately 12 years old. If you would like to enjoy the love of an old dog, please fill out the Adoption Application at: http://www.onelovebullyrescue.org/adoption/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grampy, a Mesa German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mesa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
