Frost's Story...
Storm Frost is a contradiction you’ll be eager to meet.

Despite the name, he is calm and super friendly. He approaches every dog, man, woman, and child with a smile on his face and a wag in his tail. His striking good looks and unusual coloring turn heads, but the attention hasn’t gone to his head. He is down to earth and friendly with everyone.

Frost is a gentle giant – all 84 pounds of him are well-mannered and eager to please. He is adapting well to city life. Walks down Wisconsin Avenue? No problem! Encounters with buses and trucks? Not a second look! But pass up on a chance for pat, now that’s not happening! He crates well, sleeps through the night, and endures our mysterious comings and goings with very few complaints. He's a gamer!

This hound has miles and miles and miles of heart that he's ready to share with some lucky person. Are you the one? Apply today to find out for sure!

Frost will be available for in-home visits by approved adopters beginning 02/27.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frost, a Spencerville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Spencerville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Spencerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spencerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spencerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spencerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
