My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone!

My name is Grey. I was found all alone in a cemetery! But I'm not spooky at all! My rescuers think I was born around the first week of December, which makes me about 12 weeks old in these photos, and I *might* be a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix puppy. Look at my eyes - what do you think??

After I was brought to the shelter, it was only a few days before a lady came and fell in love with my grey-green eyes and fun personality. She brought me home to foster me, and next week I will be neutered and ready for my forever home!

While I have been in my foster home, I have learned so much - I walk on a leash, run to my people when they call me, sleep in my crate without crying, and almost always go outside to do my business. I'm learning to be a good inside dog!

I weigh 12 pounds now, and I love to eat! I guess I will be a medium/big dog, so there will be more of me to love. My people tell me I am really smart, and they like me so much that we go for car rides, chase balls and watch TV together and I also get to play with my foster brother. He's a big dog, but I don't care. We have fun even when it's cold!

I love other dogs and people, and one time I saw a cat but I wasn't really impressed. Sometimes I like to chew on things with my puppy teeth, but I am learning to listen when I hear “No.” More than anything I want my own family with a yard to run in and a playful brother or sister to love!

I am fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. For information about me, Grey, just email info@FORrescue.net and ask about me!
