Marley is a 5 year old beagle mix. She weighs 25lbs and is housebroken. Marley knows basic obedience, and is very loving and loyal. She is very sweet and good with other dogs of all sizes. She loves to go on hikes and be by your side, and would also make a great agility dog! Though Marley loves to be active, she is also great at relaxing with you too! Marley has a "prey" drive with chickens due to her beagle tenacity, however she is good with our cats (though they are completely non-reactive to dogs, unlike most cats). Marley is also good with our horse.

On the morning of July 10 we got an email that said: "I need to find a home for my dogs. Marleigh is a doxie mix and Chalupa is a chihuahua. My husband is in Florida and I am scheduled to leave this Friday the 11th and I am very desperate at this point. We had someone to take them and it fell apart last minute. I cannot stay in my apartment anymore since I've already stayed past the 1st of the month." So Marley came to us in mid July when Anne immediately agreed to take the two dogs, and although Marley was clearly not a Dachshund mix when Anne first saw her she took her and (already adopted) Chalupa anyway. Marley is still here with us awaiting her forever home. She is an awesome, happy dog who needs a family who has the time and passion to love her back.
