Jack's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING!!!!
Jack is the most adorable little Beagle. He was saved from a kill pound. The veterinarian has him estimated at between 1-2 years of age. He is only 20 pounds, but could add a little weight. He is all Beagle... and too cute. He is learning to be potty trained and does well with crate training. He is eating well now. He will be ready mid-March, but we are currently accepting applications.

If you are interested in Jack, you may be pre-approved for adoption by filling out our online application. Once the application is filled out and approved, we can arrange for you to meet him. He's for sure going to steal someone's heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Hillsboro Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
