Name: Minnie

Age: 2 years old

Breed/Coloring/Weight: Minnie is a 10-12 pound poodle with a beautiful white curly coat. Her curls can get pretty long so we keep her well groomed and looking like a lady.

Rescue History: Minnie was originally rescued by a "rescuer" that got in over her head with all the rescue dogs in her care. Animal control unfortunately had to get involved and before Minnie could get seized, she was 're-rescued' by a fellow rescuer. She is now in foster care awaiting her forever home.

Personality: Minnie is a very loyal pup who worships the ground her human walks on. She is happiest being right by her foster dad's side no matter what is going on in the rest of the house. Nothing can entice her to leave his side. She looks to him for approval and confirmation in every move she makes. Minnie is a a dog's dog in that she loves to gently rough-house with comparable sized dogs. She enjoys nibbling at her furry friends until they wrestle her and loves to roll around on the floor gently gnawing on whatever playmate she can find. She is happiest in the company of other playful dogs but is not overly hyper in the least bit. She is also just as content snuggling on the couch next to her dog pals as well. Minnie is even tempered and does not make a very big presence of herself in the house, she is quiet and calm actually most of the time and knows how to hang out. She is not one to venture off too far away from her people and likes to relax wherever they are. Minnie does not get nervous or worked up around children and is not fazed by cats at all. She gels with everybody she encounters and is a very easy to get along with pet. She is smart as a whip and responds to direction very well from her people. Minnie knows to potty outside and is well behaved in the home. Overall, this is a wonderful dog who can pretty much make herself at home whoever chooses to make her their newest family member.

Medical: Minnie is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and has no health problems.

Would do best: Minnie would really love to have a doggy playmate in her forever home. She could go to a family, couple, or individual wanting a new family member to welcome in their home. She's a very versatile dog who will bond easily with her adopter.

Cats, dogs, kids: She gets along with dogs extremely well as previously stated, she ignores cats, and she does not mind kids at all - we do suggest older kids 8 and up.
