My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Lobo and I am an older (7 years+) male terrier mix. My foster mom thinks I may have some Poodle and Shih Tzu in me. I was rescued from the Animal Foundation before they euthanized me for growling. The truth is, I wasn't feeling very well! I had an upper respiratory infection and my paws were severely matted. My toenails were growing into the pads of my feet. Now, I feel SO much better and my foster parents think I am extremely well behaved. I am happy and always smiling! I growl, but that is part of my personality- I groan when I am relaxed and enjoying pets. I sometimes growl at my foster siblings, because I just want all the attention. But I NEVER snap and bite. Lobo does have some food aggression issues that are very common with stray rescues; however, we are working on these! Lobo is stellar at the dog park- very independent and enjoys meeting new friends. He still has some anxiety from his stay at the shelter- a trip to PetSmart on a Saturday/adoption day was hard on him (I'm sure all the barking and cage sounds gave him flashbacks). But I cannot say enough that this guy is so full of personality and LOVES his family. He is a blessing and he will make his furever family so happy! I am completely potty trained, utd on my shots, and neutered. I get along well with my 5 year old human brother (sometimes I like to sleep on his head) and am friendly towards other children, too. My foster mom doesn't know if I like cats. I don't bother the bird or guinea pig either! Don't let my age fool you . . . I am a spunky guy with SO many more years to love you! There is an adoption fee for me. please contact his foster mom Carol at 702.232.8691 or wilecoyote54@gmail.com. You may also fill out an interest form at www.ahome4spot.com
