BooBoo's Story...
BooBoo is a head turning, goofy boy! He is a Golden Retriever/American Bulldog mix and currently weighs 55lbs-he is working on putting on a few pounds. BooBoo LOVES other dogs, cats and children. He does great at the dog park and is house and crate trained. BooBoo is extremely allergic to fleas, so he must stay on Trifexis (a flea, tick, heart worm preventative) for the remainder of his life, as well as high quality, grain-free food. He seems to have some environmental allergies as well, but once his immune system is back to normal, his body should be able to compensate. Adopters must own their home and have a fully fenced yard. This silly man loves car rides and taking naps in his crate. He is always game for playing fetch and is hilarious when he walks himself. He has excellent recall and knows his basic commands. BooBoo’s adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BooBoo, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
