My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brutus is a 3 year old cute Dachshund mix. He has lived with the same family his entire life. They moved and could not take him. He was a little fearful on intake but owner said he warms quickly. Brutus lived with his parents but has not really been around another dogs. He is paper-trained but loves to go outdoors too. His owner said when he gets used to a person he becomes a lap dog. He has not been with cats, and due to his fearful nature with strangers, small children would not be recommended. He did like to play with the family's grandkids who are older. Brutus can show some food aggression with other dogs but not with people. He's a sweet little fellow that will take some time to warm up, but once he does, he'll be your best friend forever.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
