Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sir Popper’s cuteness verges on the unreal. There are no edges to him—physical or otherwise. The rounded curves of his body render him cartoonlike, the effect of which is topped off by his handsome teddy bear face. Sweet and affection-loving, Sir Popper is not only wonderful with people but also polite and curious with other cats. He must have lots of experience managing cat-cat interactions, as he lived outdoors in a feral colony before his admission to Tree House in December. Sir Popper is ready now to be an indoor cat and he’s looking for the perfect person or family to take him in! He was born around March 2011. Sir Popper tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which causes a weakening of the immune system in cats. It's often compared to human HIV, but FIV is not transferable to humans or other species. It is also difficult to transfer to other sterilized cats, and we believe that mixed FIV and non-FIV households can work if managed properly. If kept indoors in a stress-free environment, with regular medical care and high-quality nutrition, most FIV+ cats live long and healthy lives. Tree House staff can help answer your questions to see if an FIV+ cat is the right choice for you. FIV+ cats adopted from Tree House are eligible for a lifetime veterinary-care plan that includes a free annual exam and discounted treatments.
