Hi, I'm Ellie! I love cuddling, going on car rides, and playing, especially with my foster siblings and our toys! I love being around the other dogs and my humans. They tell me I'm easy for other dogs to get along with because I'm submissive. I'm not sure what that means but I think they like me because I'm so cute! I like going to the groomer too, but while I enjoy the pampering, I'm not the biggest fan of the blow dryer, I'm I'm still a good girl the whole time. Oh, and squirrels, I love squirrels! My previous owners had rescued me and took great care of me for eight months. Before them my life was shut in a room with my litter mates for four months until they took us to a shelter. When they rescued me I had developed a serious case of separation anxiety. They worked with me a lot and the doctor even gave me some anxiety medication. After eight months they told me they had to do what's best for me because they couldn't give me he life they thought I deserved. Since I have been living with other dogs, I don't panic as much as I used to, but my foster mom is being patient with me and we are working through it together. Don't worry though, I love my crate and how my bed and favorite blanket is always in here so I can stroll in and take my naps throughout the day! It's my safe spot. At night I'm as quiet as a mouse in my house too!
I do need a home with another playful dog (or dogs) and with humans who are home a little more than the average person. Birth date 3/2/14
